DISCLAIMERS:
This web page is just a communication tool. This is NOT a commercial venture. I am not offering any services or products for sale. Do NOT try to sell me any services about how I can make more money from this web page.
Feel free to read any of my web pages, and share them with friends, or even respond to me with your opinions or ideas, but don't waste my time or yours with any idiotic crap.
My Scuba history:
I have long had some interest in exploring the underwater world, and during the Summer of 2001, with the prodding of my friend Dennis, I took classes to get myself certified for Scuba diving. We were certified through Pacific Offshore Divers Incorporated (PODI) nearby in South San Jose. We had several classroom sessions and tests, plus three nights in a local high school pool, and then four certification dives in Monterey Bay.
We received PADI training from an Instructor named Andy Feifarek. We really enjoyed the classes, and Andy was a great Instructor. See the Diving Links Page for contact information on Andy. Our certification dives were completed on August 19, 2001, and we received our cards a few weeks later.
In November 2002, my buddy Dennis and I went to visit friends in Florida and we received advanced and Nitrox training from Bob Sheridan of Anchor Scuba in Pompano Beach Florida. We were certified for PADI Advanced Open Water and IANTD Nitrox.
Diving Links:
I ended up with so many links and so many groups of links that I was forced to put all of the links onto a separate Scuba Diving Links Page
These include Key Dive Links, Dive Shops, and Dive Conditions.
Diving Log:
Just for my own personal reference, and in case anyone else out there wants to know, here is a list of my dives so far..... I know that none of you have any interest at all, but this is a convenient way for me to store my information online. Check the temperature ranges for my dives!
